| SUNDAY, JULY 5
Arrival of the teams during the day
You must go to the specified meeting point.
You will be given the tournament literature: the magazine (including
information about groups, schedules, rules, non-sporting activities,
general information, etc), T-shirts (2 per team), each player’s
participation card, diplomas, etc.
Age check at the tournament offices
This is when the players’ ages are checked
so it is important not to forget the lists of players and each player’s
identification document.
Registration for the different types
of accommodation
You will also be given vouchers to access your
chosen accommodation. It is very important that you do not go directly
to your accommodation since you will not be given the keys to the
rooms unless you have the vouchers.
MONDAY, JULY 6

We get the ball rolling. Football - the common
denominator between teams of many different nationalities, races and
cultures - makes its appearance. Organisation officials are at hand
on every pitch to ensure all the help you need.
Official team photos
All teams are given an official tournament photo.
Photos are taken 15 minutes before your first match and are delivered
to the team manager before the second match.
Opening Ceremony
Performances, fireworks, music, etc. A brilliant
event bursting with colour and excitement. The teams parade through
the streets of Benidorm to the stage where they are welcomed by the
organisation and the tournament is declared officially underway.

and classifications are posted on the tournament website and sent

WEDNESDAY, JULY 8

which teams go through to the final elimination rounds.
Coaches’ match
All the coaches who so wish may take part. A really
entertaining, friendly event where you can work off all the day’s
built-up stress. This is the time to show the kids what a real footballer
is. Don’t miss it!
THURSDAY, JULY 9
Matches all day
Tension, excitement, exhilaration and disappointment.
The final elimination rounds between all the classified teams begin.
Gala dinner with team leaders
This event is attended by two representatives from
each team. The mayor and sports councillor of one of the host towns
welcome them and speak to them briefly and then host a team-twinning
dinner. The clubs taking part usually give the mayor a souvenir typical
of their homeland.

The teams parade along behind their respective flags, the line-ups
are read out and at the end of the match the champions and runners-up
both proudly hold their trophies aloft.
The teams return home
The end of a week packed with emotions. The teams get ready to return
home until we meet up again at a future tournament.
