Costa Blanca Cup: a commitment within the framework of international youth soccer, which will attract 96 foreign teams

Between the 30th edition of the soccer tournament and the 19th futsal tournament, teams from 23 countries from four continents will compete

The Costa Blanca Cup's vocation for internationalization since this formative football tournament was created, later incorporating futsal, 30 years ago has never ceased to be one of the fundamental pillars of the organization. The very fact of uniting football, sports tourism and the meeting between cultures, focusing everything on the value of the experiential has always been its mission and in this special edition, celebrating the 30 years of the tournament, it once again confirms fulfilling the objective. Between the soccer tournament and the futsal tournament, teams representing 23 countries from Europe, America, Asia and Africa will participate.

As already announced, the Costa Blanca Cup will take place this time in two weeks. The futsal tournament will begin with its nineteenth edition between June 25 and 30. For the track championship, registration is closed, there will be 57 teams from five countries that will enter the fray: Spain (42), from nine different provinces; France (9), England (2); Poland (3), all of these for Europe; and from Pakistan (1) through South Asia.

Once the champions in the men's and women's futsal categories are known, the time will come for the long-awaited 30th edition of the Costa Blanca Soccer Cup. And the numbers are equally dizzying: 197 teams from 21 countries, representing Europe, America, Asia and Africa, will compete on the fields of the different venues (Benidorm, Alfàs del Pi, Altea, Calpe, Finestrat, La Nucía and La Vila Joiosa.

From outside Spain, teams from France (10), Iceland (10), England (3), Northern Ireland (2), Finland (2), Belgium (1), Portugal (1) will arrive for Europe; United States (7), Dominican Republic (6), Canada (5) and Puerto Rico (3) for America; Bahrain (5), United Arab Emirates (7), Thailand (3), India (1) and Jordan (1) for Asia; and Morocco (10), Congo (2), Kenya (1) and Uganda (1) for Africa. From national territory, 116 teams will represent 13 Spanish provinces.

In absolute terms, a country like France will have a huge presence among the football and futsal tournaments with 19 teams. At the same time, nations like Iceland and Morocco arrive with ten in each case. In sum, almost a hundred foreign squads, specifically 96, will be part of the Costa Blanca Cup.
