The 27th edition of the tournament organized by Tour-Sport Promociones Deportivas concludes after a marathon day with 14 finals in the CBC and 5 in the Futsal CBC. The Best Club of the futsal tournament was Ciudad de Mostoles
The marathon day of soccer and futsal this Friday cleared up the unknowns regarding the new champion teams of the Costa Blanca Cup 2021. The Madrid Panthers National Team, in the women's category, and the AD Villa de Madrid, in the men's category, were proclaimed as the Best Clubs of the 27th edition of the CBC while Ciudad de Móstoles FS did the same in the futsal championship.
In total, 19 finals were played (14 in football and 5 in futsal), vibrant, intense, committed, putting the icing on an event that brought together a total of 174 teams during the last week, with more than 2,100 participants, representing four countries (Spain, the United States, Belgium and France), and generating more than 10,000 direct overnight stays.
The soccer finals were held at the Camilo Cano Sports City in La Nucía and the futsal finals at the L'Illa Pavilion in Benidorm. In any case, the development of the tournaments had as venues Benidorm (CD Guillermo Amor, Campos Antonio López), Calpe (Sports Center of Calpe), La Nucía (Sports Center of La Nucía), Altea (Sports Center of Altea), Villajoyosa (Ciutat Esportiva Calsita) and Alfaz del Pi (Sports Center of Alfaz del Pi). In futsal, Benidorm (L’Illa de Benidorm Pavilion) and Altea (Altea Sports Center) were the venues.
"After having to suspend the 2020 edition, forced by the situation generated by the global pandemic of the coronavirus, we are very satisfied to have held the Costa Blanca Cup in 2021, resisting the situation, activating and putting a grain of sand in the revitalization of sport, and organizing this event that was born in 1994 and had been held, until last year, uninterruptedly ”, explained Fernando Brotons, CEO of Tour-Sport Promociones Deportivas.
“I would like to thank on behalf of the entire organization the participation of the teams, which have competed up to 174, the support of our sponsors and suppliers, as well as the presence on this day of the finals of our ambassador, Sandra Paños. As one edition ends, we can start working on the next one, which we hope will once again have the best and greatest possible participation” Brotons remarked.

During the intermission of the day, the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, received in the office of the Mayor's Office of the City Council, the ambassador of the Costa Blanca Cup 2021, the Alicante goalkeeper of FC Barcelona and the Spanish soccer team, Sandra Paños . Sandra Paños participated in her formative stage in previous editions of the tournament, between the ages of nine and eleven, so being an ambassador in this year's edition has a special meaning for her. “For me it has been a pleasure to meet again with this tournament, I have relived many very beautiful things, it has been an intense day, where I have been able to follow the finals of all the participants. For the development of the Costa Blanca Cup, the support of institutional and private partners is vital.
