Teams from eight autonomies and fifteen provinces will enter the fray in the Costa Blanca Cup 2023

Alicante, with 93, will be the province with the greatest representation in football and futsal tournaments, followed by Madrid (24), Barcelona (12), León (11) or Valencia (10)

Historically, the participation of foreign teams in the Costa Blanca Cup has been very important since the origins of this grassroots football event in 1994. Equally relevant have been those Spanish teams, either from the Valencian Community or other autonomies, that have competed in the different categories, both male and female or those of an inclusive nature, which constitute both the football and futsal tournaments. And for the 2023 edition, the twenty-ninth of the CBC and the eighteenth of the CBC Futsal, there will be up to 8 autonomous communities and 15 provinces represented.

Andalucía, Aragón, Castilla la Mancha, Castilla y León, Cataluña, Comunidad de Madrid, Comundiad Valenciana and the Islas Baleares will be the Spanish regions that will see their flag fly on the fields and competition tracks of the CBC 2023.

By provinces (and number of teams) this will be the participation: Almería (4), Cádiz (3), Málaga (6), Jaén (3), Huesca (1), Toledo (4), Ciudad Real (1), León (11), Salamanca (2), Barcelona (12), Lleida (3), Madrid (24), Alicante (93), Valencia (10) and the Baleares (8).

The Spanish representation joins globally, in this event that boosts national and international sports tourism, with the participation of a total of groups belonging to 24 different countries from five continents (Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Oceania). The origin will be: Saudi Arabia (1), Algeria (4), Australia (5), Belgium (4), Brazil (1), Canada (2), Chile (1), Colombia (3), United Arab Emirates (10 ), United States, United States (2), France (11), England (18), Northern Ireland (2), Iceland (3), Japan (3), Jordan (2), Morocco (5), Poland (1) , Portugal (1), Puerto Rico (4), the Dominican Republic (1), Uganda (1) and Spain itself. The total number of participating teams is in a figure of 275.
